Redeemer Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS). We are a confessional Lutheran church committed to the truth of God’s Word and the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
You can expect a Christ-centered worship service rooted in Scripture. Our services include prayer, singing, Bible readings, a sermon, and the celebration of Holy Communion.
Service usually last about an hour.
-
Not at all. Visitors are always welcome. Whether you’re exploring Christianity or have been in church your whole life, we’re glad you’re here.
-
Lutheran worship follows a historic pattern called the liturgy. This means there is a rhythm of Scripture readings, prayers, confession and forgiveness, preaching, and praise. The focus is on receiving God’s gifts through His Word and Sacraments.
-
We believe we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We cannot earn God’s forgiveness. Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again for us, and His righteousness is given to us as a gift.
-
We believe that in the Lord’s Supper, Christ’s true body and blood are truly present “in, with, and under” the bread and wine. This Sacrament gives forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation to those who receive it in faith.
-
If you are a guest and believe what is below to be true, and what to participate, please see and Elder or Pastor to indicate your intentions. if not, you’re still welcome to come forward and receive a blessing by simply crossing your arms across your chest.
At Redeemer, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday, remembering the price that was paid for us by the death of Jesus on Calvary’s cross. In this Sacrament, we are receiving the very body and true blood of our Lord Jesus in, with and under the bread and wine. Before communing, we examine ourselves to see if we are truly repentant of our sin, and plan with the best of our ability to not return to that sin; that we have with the best of our ability, resolved any conflicts or disputes we have with others; that we hold no grudges and that we are at peace with one another.
If you’re unable to approach the altar, please let the usher know, they will have communion brought to you.
What We Believe
At Redeemer Lutheran Church, our faith is rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. As a Lutheran congregation, our teachings reflect the historic Christian faith as confessed in the Lutheran tradition.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and trustworthy Word of God. Through Scripture, God reveals His love, His will, and His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ.
The Trinity
We believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the Father is our Creator and Sustainer.
Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is our Savior.
The Holy Spirit creates and sustains faith in our hearts through sacraments.
Salvation by Grace
We believe we are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Salvation is not something we earn—it is a free gift from God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is true God and true man. Through His death on the cross and His resurrection, He conquered sin, death, and the power of evil. All who trust in Him receive forgiveness and eternal life.
The Sacraments
We believe God strengthens faith through His Word and Sacraments:
Baptism – A gift of grace through which God welcomes us into His family and gives forgiveness and new life.
Holy Communion – In the Lord’s Supper, Christ gives His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of faith.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, grow in faith, serve others, and share the good news of Jesus with the world.
Our Lutheran Heritage
As a Lutheran church, our teachings reflect the Reformation led by Martin Luther in the 16th century. We affirm the historic confessions of the Lutheran Church, especially the Augsburg Confession, which clearly express our understanding of Scripture.
